Dozens of South Florida Pools Fail Health Inspections

by | May 17, 2026 | Boca News | 0 comments

Nearly 40 pools and spas in Boca Raton, Delray Beach, and Boynton Beach received “unsatisfactory” ratings from health inspectors between May 5 and 16, 2026. Delray Beach accounted for the vast majority of failures, with 29 ratings. The luxury Opal Grand resort drew four separate failures — both pools and both spas — on the same day.

An unsatisfactory rating means conditions did not meet state health and safety standards at the time of inspection. Affected facilities may remain closed until violations are corrected and a follow-up inspection is passed.
