B’nai Torah Congregation Launches “Intro to Judaism” Course

Immersive Community Experience Includes Field Trips, Shabbats, Holidays,

Social Gatherings, and Learning with Clergy & Special Guests

WHAT: B’nai Torah Congregation, the largest conservative synagogue in Southeast Florida, is launching an “Intro to Judaism” course. The new program, described as an immersive community experience, features field trips, Shabbats, holidays, social gatherings, and education with clergy and other special guests. It is designed for those who want a better understanding of Judaism, those who are interested in converting to Judaism, or those who are curious and want to explore Judaism.

WHEN: The “Intro to Judaism” experience begins on September 13th at 6:00pm. A free orientation dinner is scheduled for August 11 at 7:00pm.

WHERE: B’nai Torah Congregation, 6261 SW 18th Street, Boca Raton, FL 33433

WHO: Instructors for the course are Rabbi Evan Susman and Rabbi Nachson Carmi

DETAILS: The course will be taught through a collaborative educational partnership with the Miller Introduction to Judaism Program of American Jewish University. The tuition for the year is $500 per person, which includes experiences, meals, holidays, and membership to B’nai Torah Congregation.
