Young Israel Synagogue of Boca Raton
Young Israel of Boca Raton is a synagogue in Florida. It was established in 2004 and has been serving the Jewish community of Boca Raton ever since. The congregation is small with only about 200 members but it has been attracting more people over the years.
The synagogue is committed to providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Young Israel of Boca Raton is a synagogue that is dedicated to ensuring that the Jewish population in Boca Raton has a place to worship.
Young Israel of Boca Raton has been a part of the community for many years, offering a number of services to help foster Jewish life and observance, including daily prayer services each three times daily, Saturday and holiday Shabbat morning, Friday night and holiday evening services, daily minyanim providing individualized davening (praying), an extensive Hebrew school program.
The purpose of the Young Israel of Boca Raton is to provide a place where Jewish people can worship and learn about their faith. The synagogue also provides a place where people can come together and celebrate Jewish holidays, such as Chanukah, Passover, and Purim.
The congregation is open to all Jews and offers a range of services for all ages and has adult education classes, and more.
Rabbi Eliyahu Rabovsky is the rabbi of Young Israel. He received Smicha from the same Yeshiva where he attended for 12 years and spent three of those years in Eretz Yisrael.
He was in Miami Beach for three years, learning in the Toras Chaim Community. He has been a board member of the Orthodox Rabbinical Board of Broward and Palm Beach counties as a Kashrus Administrator and helped oversee the integrity of the Boca Raton Community Eruv.
Over the past 25 years,Rabbi Rabovsky has been the Young Israel’s Rav, and his spiritual guidance and dedicated leadership have been a priceless asset for the community.
