Congregation Torah Ohr Boca Raton
Congregation Torah Ohr, situated in Boca Raton’s Century Village as a residential neighborhood for active adults aging 55 and older, is a welcoming place for individuals to get together, form lifelong friendships and experience the sense of belonging that can only come from being part of a close-knit community.
The synagogue, which was formed by a minyan of snowbirds many years ago, is now a lively, robust congregation of over 1000 seniors, giving both the religious and social requirements of a rising Orthodox Jewish community.
You will notice that there is a strong sense of community to be found here, whether you are attending one of the many prayer services held at our different communities, taking their Torah lectures, or simply enjoying the delicious food served in our Kiddush and Succot dinners. Here at Torah Ohr, you will get to meet new people from all walks of life and even rekindle old friendships.
Congregation Torah Ohr is a Orthodox congregation that is located in Boca Raton, Florida.
It was founded in 1967 and has been a part of the community for 50 years. They provide opportunities to worship and study as well as social services that are tailored to meet their members’ needs. The synagogue also offers Hebrew school classes for children and adults, lectures, celebrations, and more.

Rabbi Yasgur has been the rabbi of Torah Ohr Boca Raton since 1983, and is a graduate of Yeshiva University. He has been at the forefront of many important events in the history of Torah Ohr Boca Raton and is known for his engaging style and deep knowledge base. He has been a spiritual leader for over four decades and has traveled all around the world to teach people about Judaism.
