Beth Ami first opened its doors over 25 years ago. Recently, there has been an emphasis on fostering a relationship with Israel and the Jewish people while maintaining the traditional values of liberal Judaism: creating a warm and welcoming environment for all Jews regardless of background or affiliation, social justice activism that seeks to better the world according to Jewish ethical ideals, and spiritual growth through utilizing diverse religious resources.
Beth Ami, who is a direct descendant of the Rabbi Shmuel Tikvah, has a long and strong connection with Eretz Yisrael and its people. Their connection extends to all Jews worldwide, as Beth Ami has been donating in support of the Jewish community for decades.
The Beth Ami Synagogue was established with the goal of fostering a deep personal Jewish identity and understanding of our relationship to the Land of Israel, our ancient homeland. Religious services and celebrations are conducted every Shabbat, along with classes on Torah and Jewish customs. It is their hope that it will be a center for the community that links us to life.
