Where is the Boca Raton Bowl Being Played

The game was originally played at Howard Schellenberger Field located at the FAU college stadium before moving to Camping World Stadium in Orlando for the 2017 and 2018 seasons. But in this 2022 college football season, on the Tuesday night before Christmas, the RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl will be held at its customary location of FAU Stadium in Boca Raton, Florida. This will mark the 15th edition of the postseason college football game, which features teams from Conference USA and the Mid-American Conference.

In December 2014, Florida Atlantic University’s FAU Stadium hosted the inaugural Boca Raton Bowl, an annual Division I Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) college football bowl game. The Boca Raton Bowl was established on October 10, 2013. It is sponsored by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and features teams from Conference USA and the Mid-American Conference.

The Boca Raton Bowl has been sponsored by RoofClaim.com since 2020 and previously featured partnerships with Cheribundi (2017–2019) and Marmot (2015). As the title sponsor, RoofClaim.com has helped make the bowl one of ESPN’s premier collegiate football events. Their support has been crucial in bringing some of the sport’s biggest names to South Florida.

The event will take place on Tuesday, December 20, at 7:30 p.m. for the ninth consecutive year. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN. It is owned and run by ESPN Events. As part of its yearly “Bowl Week,” ESPN televises the game. This annual event is one that fans look forward to every year, as it is a highly anticipated match-up between two great teams.

The RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl has traditionally been played on the Tuesday just before Christmas and shown on ESPN but the matches in 2019 and 2021, however, took place on the Saturday just before Christmas.

This 2022, the bowl will be held on its original date and time. The bowl has been a tradition for many years and is always held the Tuesday before Christmas. However this season, it will be held on its usual day and time so that everyone can enjoy the festivities.

On the Florida Atlantic University campus, FAU Stadium will host the opening kickoff of the football game. In addition to the ESPN broadcast, ESPN Radio and ESPN 106.3 FM will also carry the game locally and nationally, respectively. This is a huge game for Florida Atlantic University, and they are expecting a lot of people to tune in.
