Hillsboro Beach Boca Raton

Hillsboro Beach, which stretches about three miles along the Atlantic coast south of Boca Raton, is as stunning as ever. You’ll find a soft sand-covered beach with a low dune that’s perfect for kids, and a creek for paddling. The few blocks of shops and restaurants are all charming in their own way.

Hillsboro Beach is a charming coastal town that features a lovely stretch of beach along the peninsula, where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Intracoastal Waterway. The area is known for its lighthouse, which provides a nice vantage point for taking in the beautiful scenery – and for watching any approaching storms.

The serene beach is a wonderful departure from some of the other stunning beaches in South Florida. The white sand, clean water and cool breeze on a sunny day is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Hillsboro Beach is a peaceful getaway where you can get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, escape beneath the crystal clear blue sky, and experience the beauty of nature and wildlife. Visitors can snorkel along the coast, lay on the beach, or take a scenic hike through our private trails to find out how much beauty surrounds us.

In the 1800s, Hillsboro Beach was a popular destination for wealthy Northerners who wanted to escape the cold. The area became a popular vacation spot for people from all over the world because of its great weather and sandy beaches. The town also became a gathering place for college students in the 1970s because of its close proximity to the University of Florida.

Hillsboro Beach is one of the few places in Florida that has not been affected by rampant development, and still maintains a largely wooded area with many endangered species. These include the Florida scrub jay, bald eagle, and gopher tortoise.

Using data from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, it has been shown that nesting leatherback, loggerhead, and green sea turtles are all present in Hillsboro Beach between March and October of each year.

The community of Hillsboro Beach is home to 152 documented sea turtle nests, which is more than any other beach in the district. This means that for every mile you swim, there is a 1 in 4 chance that you will find a nest.
