Butterfly World in South Florida

Butterfly World in south Florida is the world’s largest butterfly park and is home to over 10,000 butterflies at any given time. It is difficult to estimate how many there are because they fly all around freely and often come up to visitors who are there.

Butterfly World is found within the Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek, and has been created as a natural habitat to more than 150 different kinds of butterflies. Some of the butterflies that dwell here are seasonal and hence not always visible but others can be seen all year around.

The outdoor aviaries at this butterfly conservatory house provide a breathtaking experience, as they house over 50 different types of gorgeous butterflies. You can enjoy these beautiful insects from all different angles, with exhibits that give you the opportunity to walk among them, see them up close and personal, and even take pictures.

Butterfly World is the perfect destination for families that are visiting South Florida, and has been described as one of the top family-oriented tourist attractions in the area. A visit to Butterfly World will allow you to learn about, touch, and interact with hundreds of butterflies from around the world.

Every month, the park also hosts a Butterfly Gardening Workshop where children are taught to discover and attract butterflies. This event is designed for kids and parents to learn about gardening in the park, the lifecycle of butterflies, and how to create a butterfly garden that is sure to attract these beautiful creatures.

Customers are getting a great deal at Butterfly World when they attend the workshop for free with the admission cost for viewing all of the fascinating exhibits. Not only does the Butterfly World have a diverse selection of live butterflies and plants, but it also has an interactive 3D theater, an insectarium, and a nature trail.

This site also features the world’s largest free-flight hummingbird aviary, which is a great way for people to get a glimpse at these amazing birds as they fly around. In addition to the mounted butterflies and moths, there is also a beautiful display of live butterflies and moths. Visitors can interact with them while they explore the rest of the museum.
